Our Richmond Kids Martial Arts After School Program is perfect for the concerned parent on the go! Since we pick your child up from school, they'll be in a safe and exciting learning environment full of high energy activities with a focus on their studies...right up until the time you pick them up. Get ready to hear all about how much fun they had during your ride home!

They'll get a great mixture of martial arts, healthy exercise, and fun activities. Plus - lessons on respect, discipline, and paying attention are always front and center during study and campus time. It's deeply enriching and a lot of fun!

We have a blend of unique elements in all our Kids Martial Arts classes; techniques, discipline, respect and fun. The outcome: disciplined kids who are well-behaved with a great sense of respect everywhere they go. Parents of the students love our classes too for they have seen their kids perform better in school.

All our classes are filled with fun activities and games. Kids are taught new martial art techniques as well as being helped to improve and master old ones.

Our Krav Maga classes are developed from the mid-1930s Jewish / Israeli history. In those years, anti-Semitic thugs dominated Bratislava and terrorized Jewish citizens. But a man named Imi Sde-Or, also Jewish, became their champion by defending them on the streets.

Imi Sde-Or, in his many street fights, realized that boxing and wrestling had no place in the "real world". He was an Olympic contender in both, so no one knew boxing and wrestling better than he did. He took his experience on the street, combined it with what he already knew, and developed Krav Maga; a unique type of self-defense that utilizes natural instincts for self-protection. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art which draws inspiration from dance, music, and acrobatics. While it has a rich history dating back to 16th century Brazil, where slaves planned rebellions against their captors, today it is known as a fun sport and a great full-body workout.

The movements in Capoeira are fast, complex, and require high levels of strength, control, and coordination, resulting in full-body conditioning,  It's exercise that builds strength, power, and lean muscle mass.
