Johnny Ahmed has been teaching martial arts to all age groups and levels for over a decade. In 2007, he opened Richmond Martial Arts so he could introduce even more students to the art form.
Johnny has 27 years of training in Taekwon-Do (6th degree black belt), Kickboxing, Muay Thai and is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (given by Royce Gracie). He’s also a certified trainer in the Bas Rutten MMA System of mixed martial arts.
He’s trained with some of the finest martial artists in the world including: Bill “Super Foot” Wallace, Billy Blanks, Royce Gracie, Cung Le, Randy Couture and Bas Rutten.
Johnny competed in competitions throughout North America five times a year from 1995 to 2008, was a member and team captain of the BC Team, top pick of the Alberta Team and coached the Junior BC Team. He has also attended numerous seminars with the founder of Taekwon-Do.
