Johnny Ahmed has been teaching martial arts to all age groups and levels for over a decade. In 2007, he opened his own studio, Richmond Martial Arts, in Richmond BC so he could introduce even more students to the art form.

Since then, the school has expanded its student base and its reputation, being named one of the Top 3 Martial Arts Schools in Richmond BC by the Richmond Review.

Johnny has 17 years of training in Taekwon-Do (5th degree black belt), Kickboxing, Muay Thai and is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(given by Royce Gracie). He's also a certified trainer in the Bas Rutten MMA System of mixed martial arts.

He has trained with some of the finest martial artists in the world like Bill "Super Foot" Wallace, Billy Blanks, Royce Gracie, Cung Le, Randy Couture, and Bas Rutten.

"Martial Arts changed my life. It kept me on a straight path when my friends were getting into trouble. It built up my confidence. And it increased my fitness to a high level. Now I want to help as many people as I can using the martial arts." -Johnny Ahmed

Johnny Ahmed also employs a team of high level instructors, all experts in their martial arts disciplines. They ensure their students receive the best possible training in their chosen martial art.
